Retain clinics and e-visits are alternatives to seeing a doctor at an office visit, urgent care clinic, or emergency room. Retail clinics, located at drugstores and “big box” retailers like Wal-Mart and Target, provide convenience and flat-rate pricing, but are best for basic and uncomplicated medical issues. E-visits allow you to talk to a doctor via the Internet and offer a wider range of services.
