Very good information here!
Would have never even thought of this and will let my step dad know as he has some of these issues.

In the case of Back Pain, we often see it interfering with many ADL’s (activities of daily living). One of the most common talked about by our patients is the interference of back pain with relationships and lovemaking. The most common thought being that with back pain “you don’t even feel like touching your partner let alone have any sexual relations.” Chronic back pain of long duration can be difficult on any relationship. As Huntsville Chiropractors, we often counsel our patients to remember your loved ones feelings and to look for those tender moments and nurture each other. A loving touch, a simple caress, and kind words can go far in keeping a relationship healthy during times of back pain.

It’s fairly drastic and mentally draining to say the least. Stay strong, stay positive. Keep yourself around people that can take away from your struggles.

Causes of Heart Diseases
There are many causes of heart diseases. Most of heart diseases are caused by high blood pressure contributes to hardening of the arteries. High levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) build up in the arteries as a result of uncontrolled diet with high levels of saturated fat and trans fat. All these add to the formation of atherosclerosis lesions and eventually arterial blockage or anything that serves to damage the inner lining of blood vessels and impedes the transportation of oxygen and nutrition to the heart can be defined as a risk of heart disease.

I find it interesting that the rate of heart disease is so extremely high, it makes you wonder if people realize what food they are putting in their body which causes this. It seems to make sense that we should add an educational program which teaches about what is in the food we eat and how to avoid heart disease. Sure we have physical education but that obviously isn’t cutting it. In any case, something has to be done or the rate will continue to increase.
When we’re young, as men, we are supposed to be ashamed and dismissive of weakness, we don’t want to accept it. I’ve been guilty of this same thing at times, I carry this reoccurring dread. [URL removed by moderator]

Love the content of this site as well as the Harvard Men’s Health Watch. Great information!
As regards depression, there is far too much emphasis on SSRIs and various other prescription drugs. Lifestyle changes such as more green time and more exercise are proven and valid ways of fighting depression. Even a walk on a tree lined avenue can help! These changes can enhance mood without lessening any libido.

You raise a good point. Regular physical activity and time outdoors — which can boost mood partly through exposure to sunlight — may be enough to help people with mild or even moderate depression. People with more severe symptoms often need medication as well, however – and if they do, they may be able to find medications that have less effect on sexuality.
Thanks for writing!
Drugs commonly used to treat depression, blood pressure, heart disease, etc can cause erectile dysfunction and failure of ejaculation.
Not only certain medical conditions can affect lovemaking but also drugs used to treat these conditions.
Talk to your doctor, who may change the drugs and see if that helps.
If not there are drugs like cialis, viagra, levitra etc which may help.
