I have tried diet, exercise, and changing my lifestyle with the support of my family. My doctor has told me that medication is the next step, and I am glad I came across this warning about Avandia because it is one of the options given to me by the doctor. However, I came across a website, where they claim that there is a surgery that can reverse type 2 diabetes at a 90% success rate. Any advice would be helpful regarding whether this is a hoax or misleading claim. Thanks.
My grandmother is currently taking Avandia and has not yet been made aware of these warnings about side health risks.
I will get onto this immediately- thanks for the article.
