	Carotid Ultrasound (Carotid Doppler) Doctors often recommend carotid ultrasound for people who have had a stroke or those with reduced blood flow in the carotid arteries (the main blood vessels to the brain). READ MORE>>
	Thrombotic Stroke In a thrombotic stroke, a blood clot (thrombus) forms inside one of the brain's arteries. The clot blocks blood flow to a part of the brain. This causes brain cells in that area to stop functioning and die quickly. READ MORE>>
