Why can't I access my account anymore?

You may have inadvertently signed off or the cookie which identifies your account may have been deleted. Simply sign on. If you are using a new computer, if you have loaded a new operating system, or if you are using a new version of your browser, it is possible that cookies are disallowed on your browser. The web site of your browser manufacturer should have instructions for you to allow cookies. It is also possible your subscription has expired. Select "My Account" and select "View or Renew Subscriptions".

Ordering Information

Can I subscribe online?

Yes. Navigate to the desired health newsletter and select your order preference. Your online subscription is immediate upon payment with a valid credit card using our secure site.

Do I get a receipt for my purchase?

When you fill out the registration form we ask you to provide an email address to receive an email receipt for your purchase. Registered customers automatically receive email receipts for all purchases.

If I have a print subscription, how can I get an online subscription?

You might need to purchase a separate online subscription in order to view our publication electronically.

Can I lookup my subscription expiration date?

Yes, you can find out when your current subscription expires by clicking "My Account" and selecting "Check expiration date".

How do I renew my subscription online?

You will be notified by email prior to your subscriptions expiration date. You can click the link in the email and select the desired subscription option to renew. You can also renew online anytime by clicking "My Account" and clicking "Renew a subscription".

What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa and MasterCard.

What address should I enter in the billing information screen?

For credit card verification, you must enter the address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. This applied to the name you enter also; you do not need to enter a middle name or initial.

Why are you not accepting my credit card?

There are many reasons for a failed credit card transaction. Your card may have expired or reached its limit or you typed in an incorrect credit card information. Make sure that the name and address on the credit card matches the information on your credit card statement.

Can I pay by check?

No. Currently credit card is the only accepted method of payment.

Can I print publications, issues and articles?

Yes. You can print any publication, issue or article at any time, provided you follow all copyright restrictions regarding non-distribution of content you print from this Web site.

Can I change my email address for email notifications?

Yes. Click "My Account" and then click "Edit e-mail address & password" to update your email address.

How can I change my account information?

Use the Customer Service links at the bottom of each page.

Can I share the online service?

No. Do not share your Username and Password, as others will have the ability to change your information and make purchases under your account. If you print online material from this Web site, it is subject to all copyright laws as if you purchased the printed copy from us in any other manner.

If you are interested in a site license, please contact the publisher directly.

You may not permit the use of your Username and Password by individuals at other locations or at other companies. If we find that you are abusing your access privileges, we may cancel your online access without notice.

Technical Assistance

Why do I need to accept cookies?

Cookies are placed on your browser for your convenience, and the Commerce System used is cookie dependent. When you place an order, information is written onto your hard drive. The next time you place an order, the system recognizes who you are and automatically enters your information into the form.

Are cookies a security risk?

Because cookies read information on your hard drive, some think this means they give access to all the information on your computer. Our commerce system encrypts all cookies and they cannot be read by any other web page. The cookie actually contains no personal information, just a unique identifier for our system to recognize this browser.

How do I set up my browser to accept cookies?

If you're using Internet Explorer, go to the View menu and select Internet Options. Within the Internet Options window, select the Advanced tab at the top right, scroll down until you see a selection titled "Cookies" and make sure the "Always accept cookies" box is checked.

Is this a secure site?

Yes. We know that security is a serious concern for you as an online consumer. That is why our site is a GeoTrust Secure Site. Whenever you see the GeoTrust logo, we are using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. When using SSL, all information passing between your computer and our site is encrypted. What do I need in order to view a publication, issue or article?

All publications are stored as PDF and/or HTML format. PDF files require Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher to view. The latest version of Acrobat Reader may be downloaded free from Adobe.

When I try to view a Portable Document Format (PDF) publication in Internet Explorer, all I see is a blank screen. Why is this happening?

What is your refund policy?

The Harvard Health Publishing store offers a 30-day money back guarantee of digital products.

How do I cancel my order?

Orders placed by credit card may only be cancelled the day they were placed. If you need to cancel your credit card order please contact Customer Service.

How do I request a refund?

To obtain a refund for physical product(s) purchased online, you need to contact Customer Service to request a refund.

When will the credit appear on my card?

Your refund credit will appear on your card within 48 hours of us receiving your completed letter of destruction.
