Jun Huh is an associate professor of microbiology and immunobiology at Harvard Medical School. Huh received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology and completed postdoctoral training at NYU School of Medicine as a Jane Coffin Childs Fellow. He has received the NIH Pathway to Independence Award, the Smith Family Award, and was named a Searle and Pew Scholar.
His laboratory investigates how the immune system influences the central nervous system by dissecting cytokine and cytokine‑receptor pathways. He also studies host- and bacteria-derived factors that regulate gut inflammation, and aims to develop therapeutics that modulate immune receptors to treat inflammatory and neurological disorders.
