You say better sleep is inexpensive and usually does not require a physicians prescription. Then you leave us hanging as to what the inexpensive non prescription way to get better sleep is. So are you trying to help or trying to sell a report?
Exactly i to read the article hoping for some form of insight but nothing……
More marketing more waisting peoples time, if you truly understood about lack of sleep and chronic pain you would mess people about like this!
I agree. Let’s face it, a PRESCRIPTION medication can definitely help get one to sleep. I cannot take “Benidryl” or most of the “over the counter sleep meds”!!! I have AFIB and that is a no-no to take (it can actually be dangerous). I also am in alot of pain (arthritis, + broke my shoulder & hip 2 yrs. ago-was “operated on”, with rather poor outcome.) All of the doctors are running scared about prescribing meds these days, so I guess those that are in the same position as myself (and there are many out there) are S.O.L.
In terms of getting a good nights sleep, has any research been done on what type of mattress is best for people who suffer from osteoarthritis?

It’s a tough one because I use my phone to play music that helps me sleep – like this http://goodbackgroundmusic.co.uk/music-library/send-me-to-sleep-a-song-to-guide-you-to-sleep/
But then having the phone near the bed keeps me awake sometimes…
And sleep is so important as this and many other articles show
Try putting the phone face down (so the light won’t keep you awake) and out of easy reach . I use several guided meditation apps that are timed to end in 30 minutes or so. This works most nights. I’m asleep before the program ends.
