The Kronos Longevity Research Institute, a nonprofit organization
in Phoenix devoted to aging research, is sponsoring the Kronos
Early Estrogen Prevention Study (KEEPS).
The randomized, placebo-controlled study is scheduled to last
The researchers plan to enroll 720 recently menopausal women.
Participants must be age 42–58 and healthy. They can not have had
a hysterectomy. And "recently menopausal" means having had a
menstrual cycle in the last three years, but not having had one
in the last six months.
