Runny or Stuffy Nose or Nasal Congestion

This may consist of drainage from the front of the nose or mucous running down the back of the throat, also called postnasal drip. Congestion or blockage of the nose may occur with the runny nose or on its own. Most commonly, these symptoms will occur with infections or allergies. Polyps or a deviated septum will cause long-term blockage of the nose.
